Clancy, 35, a labor and delivery nurse, is charged with three counts of murder and faces life in prison without parole if convicted.
Jury sees photos of Lindsay Clancy in hospital bed for second time
Officer Mark Maffeo said he was assigned to watch Lindsay Clancy at the hospital and he eventually went back to her house after.
During cross-examination by Clancy’s lawyer, Kevin Reddington, Maffeo and the jury were shown photos of Clancy intubated in a hospital bed the night of the murders.
Maffeo said she wasn’t awake as he stood guard.
One photo showed Clancy splayed out on the bed, laying on her back with an apparatus in her mouth and a neck brace on. The images also showed her cut and bloodied wrists and neck. The graphic images were first shown in court on Monday.

The jury returned to court just after 11:30 a.m. local time after their outing to Lindsay Clancy’s former home, and the CVS and restaurant where Patrick Clancy stopped the night of their kids’ murders.
Police Officer Mark Anthony Maffeo is now on the witness stand.

A bus carrying the 18 jurors who will decide Lindsay Clancy’s fate was spotted Friday morning driving by ThreeV restaurant in Plymouth, Mass., accompanied by a police escort.
The pool of 12 jurors and six alternates were inside a coach bus that slowly drove by the restaurant without stopping, as seen in video taken by WBZ CBS Boston.
ThreeV was the second of the three sites the jury will see today — the first being a CVS in Kingston that Patrick stopped at as the kids were being murdered, and the final being the Clancys’ former home in Duxbury, where the tragedy unfolded.
Lindsay sent Patrick out to make the two stops the evening of Jan. 24, 2023, and strangled Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, while he was gone.
The jury is expected to go inside the home in groups of six.
Media barred from capturing images of jurors during view of Lindsay Clancy’s home
The press has been ordered not to capture images of the jury when they go inside the home where Lindsay Clancy and her family lived when she killed her kids.
The media has to stay 100 yards away from Clancys’ former home, and they can’t show the panel members on camera — all to ensure Clancy gets a fair trial and to protect juror privacy.
The members — who are being transported from court on a coach bus — will go into the house in groups of six, the judge said in court this morning before the outing.

The jury of 18 will first stop at a CVS in Kingston, Massachusetts, and then a restaurant in Plymouth, tracing Patrick Clancy’s steps on the errands he ran while then-wife Lindsay Clancy was killing their three kids at home.
A general manager of the CVS testified Wednesday that Lindsay called ahead to ask where a children’s laxative was located before sending Patrick to go buy it. Surveillance footage of Patrick going into the store and a receipt of the purchase were shown to jurors.
Patrick also testified that he spoke with Lindsay by phone while he was in the store to ask her if a different brand of the medication was okay. He said she sounded “busy” during the brief call and so he assumed she was bathing the kids.
Lindsay also called ahead to ThreeV Restaurant in Plymouth, placing an order for risotto and a Mediterranean power bowl, a hostess at the restaurant testified.
Surveillance footage played for the jury Wednesday showed Patrick making the second stop to pick up the food.
He then returned home to an eerily quiet house before finding blood “everywhere” in the couple’s second-story bedroom and the window open.
Patrick told jurors he ran outside and saw Lindsay laying on her back in the backyard with her wrists and neck sliced. He called 911 while he frantically asked Lindsay where the kids were. She responded that they were in the basement.
Patrick then found all of his kids lifeless with elastic exercise bands around their necks just as first responders were arriving.
The jury is expected to be escorted into the home in groups of six after stopping at the store and the restaurant.

Two cops testified about arriving at the Duxbury home to see Clancy semi-conscious on the ground in the backyard after a suicide attempt, and husband Patrick Clancy frantically discovering his three young kids were strangled, screaming, “She killed the f–king kids!”
Paramedics and cops also testified about the motionless children, describing their gray skin, blue lips, bloodshot eyes and wounds on their necks from where Clancy strangled them with elastic exercise bands.
The witnesses then told the jury about their failed efforts to revive Cora, Dawson and baby Callan.
One veteran cop teared up as he recounted discovering them in the basement of the family home.
In total, nine first responders testified during the half-day of trial before Judge William F. Sullivan dismissed the jury early, saying lawyers needed time to “hammer out issues.”

The jury overseeing Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial is going to be taken to the same stops that husband Patrick Clancy made before returning home to find his kids dead.
Lindsay sent Patrick out on two errands on the evening of Jan. 24, 2023, during which time she strangled their three young kids with elastic workout bands.
The jury will be taken on a bus to the CVS Patrick picked up a medication from and the restaurant where he picked up takeout food from, ThreeV.
Then the panel will be taken to the Duxbury home where the killings occurred. The house is currently owned by a lawyer who tried to block the jury from visiting the property, but the judge decided a tour was vital to the case, according to NBC Boston.
Judge William Sullivan explained to the jurors Friday morning that they will be taken into the house in groups of six.
“You’re about to visit and go by a number of places you’ve heard about at trial,” Sullivan said.
This is so they can “better understand the evidence and to help you appreciate the location and the surroundings about these different areas.”
After the viewings, the panelists will return to court for additional testimony, the judge said.
