Portia Suspends Finn From General Hospital, Leads To Deadly Consequences

General Hospital spoilers tease that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) was upset to learn that Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) was returning to General Hospital after taking a leave of absence much sooner than expected.

Finn has taken the time off to deal with his father Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) death. But Finn hasn’t been handling Gregory’s death very well, and had started drinking heavily. Even though Finn didn’t classify himself as an alcoholic, he is an addict and it appears he’s now unable to stop drinking.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn Is Isolating Himself From Everyone who Loves Him.

Finn has been drinking every since the night before his father died when he accidentally took a drink from a champagne glass at Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding reception.

So far, Finn has shut Chase, Elizabeth and even Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) out and has been quite vicious when each of them tried to confront him.

Alexis told Finn he needs to get into a 90 day rehab program, but Finn refused. He still thinks he’s capable of functioning as if nothing is wrong.

GH Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber Confided In Dr. Portia Robinson

So when Elizabeth learned that Finn was planning to return to work the following day, she knew she couldn’t let that happen. In his drunken state, Finn could cause immense harm to his patients.

Hoping to prevent that from happening, Elizabeth confided in Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) who is not only her friend, but the co-chief of staff at the hospital. Portia will have no choice but to act if Finn insists on returning to work.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn Will Continue On His Downward Spiral

Most likely, Portia will have to suspect Finn from work if he goes through with his plan to return at the moment. This will only make Finn even angrier, perhaps blaming Elizabeth for telling Portia.

Alexis has already warning Finn that he’s about to hit rock bottom and that day is coming fast.

All signs seems to point to Finn becoming involved in a deadly car accident. But there’s no telling if Finn will die or if someone will be hurt if Finn gets behind the wheel. Either way, nothing will ever be the same.

GH Spoilers – What Do You Think?

Was Elizabeth right to tell Portia about Finn’s drinking? What will Portia do? Could Finn’s rock bottom be coming in the form of a deadly car accident? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.
