Anna Recruits A Repentant Dex For A Startling Brand New Assignment!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has been through quite a bit in recent weeks.

As viewers know, Dex had settled into his position of working both for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and secretly for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as well.

When Dex started working for Michael, their goal was that Dex would be a mole and gather evidence to incriminate Sonny.

Somewhere along the way, Michael changed his mind and decided that Dex should stay on his payroll, but now the goal would be to keep Sonny safe.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dex Heller Almost Crossed A Line For Sonny Corinthos!

While working for Sonny, the mobster asked Dex to kill Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Dex tried to talk Sonny out of his murderous intentions, but the mobster was determined.

Dex eventually relented and was prepared to kill Cyrus but Sonny had a change of heart at the very last moment.

Not long after that, Sonny discovered that Dex was also on Michael’s payroll and exiled him from Port Charles and away from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

GH Spoilers – Josslyn Jacks Brought Dex Heller Home!

Josslyn wasn’t having it and with the help of Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) she tracked Dex down and brought him home.

They planned to appeal to Sonny’s better instincts, but they encountered an injured Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) instead.

They helped save the life of Sonny’s son, and so far Sonny hasn’t said anything to Dex about returning. However, Joss just found out that Dex almost killed Cyrus and she dumped him.

Dex then went to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and confessed everything to the Police Commissioner.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dex Heller Wants To take Sonny Corinthos Down!

Anna told Dex that she couldn’t arrest Sonny without incriminating him or putting his life at risk. So she told him that their conversation never happened. But Dex offered to help her take Sonny down if the opportunity presented itself.

With Dante out of commission, it seems possible that she will recruit Dex for a special mission.

Perhaps he can act as Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) handler, who is mist likely working undercover for the FBI. Either way, look for a brand new direction for Dex in the coming weeks!

What do you think?

Were you surprised that Josslyn dumped Dex? Should Dex have confessed to Anna? And where does Dex go from here? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.
