Khloe Kardashian‘s face looked very different in a new photo shared to Instagram on Thursday morning.

The 39-year-old reality TV dynamo had her hair pulled back by a wide black headband showing off her visage as she added gold hoop earrings.

But the mother of two’s countenance appeared distorted, likely from the use of a powerful filter.

While most of the comments were very flattering, some did say that they felt her face looked different. One remarked: ‘This is not your face.’ Another said: ‘I think she’s not Khloe, does anyone know who she is?’

Khloe has for many years relied on filters to smooth out her face, and is often criticized for going overboard as she is already stunningly gorgeous as is without any help.

In 2021 the Kocktails With Khloe veteran shared on her Insta Stories that she was using many filters that sister Kourtney Kardashian told her about.

Alongside the final clip, she wrote: ‘Mary god bless your filter. Don’t tell Kourt I learned something from her.’

Khloe admitted to using the filter- which improved the lighting and slightly altered her appearance – after she was accused of editing all of her photos for social media.

Before that she came under fire when an unedited shot of her in a leopard print bikini was leaked online. She looked pale and had skin flaws, which don’t ever appear on her page.

Though Khloe still appeared toned, slender and beautiful in the natural snap, maybe were shocked at how it was such a contrast from her heavily doctored pinup photos.

This comes after the she reflected on ageing.

As she wished her best friends — twins Malika and Khadijah Haqq — a happy 41st birthday on Instagram, she shared some thoughts about ‘growing up’ as she approaches the milestone which sisters Kourtney, 44, and Kim, 43, have already crossed.

‘Growing up is really a crazy thing… when you’re younger, all you want to do is party, be out, be seen, be in the mix. You have tons of friends but none of them really know the real you,’ Kardashian began.

‘Then, you get a little older and with every year that passes, you crave more and more simplicity. More peace. You crave friends that you can count on one hand. You crave doing the ‘nothingness’ with someone. The things that make you feel safe,’ she added.

As she wished Malika and Khadijah Haqq a happy 41st birthday, she brought up her state of mind. ‘Growing up is really a crazy thing… when you’re younger, all you want to do is party… Then, you get a little older and with every year that passes, you crave more and more simplicity’

She also talked her pals Malika and Khadijah: ‘To the twins, You are my safe space. You are the ones I want to do everything and nothing with. You are the ones I’ve always been able to count on.

‘Blessed to have had my safe space since we were young teenagers. Since the moment I met you girls we just clicked. We just get one another. We became triplets and we never looked back.’

Kardashian then wrote: ‘Thank you for trusting me with all that you do. Thank you for holding my hand while we go through life.

‘It’s a privilege and an honor to have a friendship as long as we have had and I cherish the years we have spent together. Ohhhhh the memories we have ♡ ohhhhhh the secrets that will die with US lol.

‘I know the magic that exists within your souls and I can’t wait to see you both sparkle brighter, and brighter with every year. This is just the beginning!!’ she went on.

‘Some people come into our lives and make it better, you two make life better. Sweeter, more memorable.

‘Thank you for never judging me when I made mistakes, for laughing until we cried, for crying until we laugh, for the sleepless nights of fun and for always being there. You both will always be my person, my ride or die, through thick and thin, until the end….. and we ain’t ending!!’ Kardashian concluded the lengthy message.

Kardashian is mom to daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 19 months, with ex Tristan Thompson.

The star, who seems to just get better with age, added she wanted, ‘More peace. You crave friends that you can count on one hand. You crave doing the ‘nothingness’ with someone. The things that make you feel safe’
