The TV queen was decked in a strapless white gown from fashion brand Balenciaga. She added sunglasses to her red-carpet-ready look before gracing the Vanity Fair party for the 96th Academy Awards. Posting flawless photos on Instagram, Kim wrote: “OSCARS 2024 Vanity Fair Party in Balenciaga Couture”.

In one, she showcased her stylish gown and loose dark hair through a dramatic pose, reports the Mirror US. Fans adored Kim’s red carpet appearance. A follower praised her saying: “This is probably one of your absolute best looks, keep this energy! ” Another fan deemed it perfect: “Kimmy this is your look”.

Another admirer complimented: “You are soooo beautiful”. However, not all of Kim’s fans were happy with her choice to wear Balenciaga. The fashion brand got into trouble in 2022 for a campaign that showed kids with teddy bears wearing bondage gear.

It caused an uproar and there were calls for people to stop buying from Balenciaga. Some of Kim’s fans reminded her about the controversy in the comments on her Instagram. One person said: “Isn’t this the company she swore to never wear or deal with and everytime you look up she is wearing this brand, but I don’t know why people are in shock she lost her soul a decade ago”.

Another wrote: “So much for her stance on pedophilia…shameful”. And someone else agreed, saying: “Seriously? You have kids… guess money is more important? “.

Kim had said before that she didn’t like what Balenciaga did. She posted on Instagram: “I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns.” She also said she was thinking about whether she would work with them again, depending on how they handled the problem.

The Oscars Vanity Fair party sparked more rumours about Kim’s supposed romance with NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. They were spotted entering Jay-Z and Beyonce’s Oscars afterparty in Los Angeles, where they were seen getting cosy as she touched his face and he held her by the waist.
