Secretly signing a contract with Real Madrid, Mbappe was punished and banned by PSG?

The conflict between striker Kylian Mbappe and PSG club and coach Luis Enrique has reached its peak, the French press revealed that this star will be banned from playing until the end of the season. The reason, Mbappe signed a contract with Real Madrid .

Mbappe was replaced by coach Luis Enrique in two recent consecutive matches, when PSG drew 1-1 with Rennes on February 25 (65 minutes), and after the first half of the recent 0-0 away draw with Monaco ( 2.3).

“This unusual incident made Mbappe angry and demanded an explanation from coach Luis Enrique, after the entire PSG team returned to the Poissy Campus training center on March 3, to prepare for the next match against Real Sociedad in the second leg. Champions League round of 16 (at 3 o’clock on March 6)”, RMC channel said.

“However, the possibility of Mbappe playing any role in the near future is still open, and he may even be idle until the end of the season. PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi once stated , if it is known that Mbappe signed a contract with Real Madrid, this player will no longer have the opportunity to play for the Paris team.

There is a possibility of this happening, because after Mbappe announced his departure at the end of the season on February 7 and committed to playing his best for the rest of the season. But recent developments show that something has happened,” journalist Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato newspaper revealed.

“Mbappe may have secretly signed a contract with Real Madrid, after reaching agreements to join this team on a free transfer this summer and signing a contract until June 2029. Therefore, PSG has acted with a decisive decision to remove this star from all the team’s plans from now until the end of the season,” journalist Santi Aouna shared.

According to L’Equipe : “There may also be a compromise solution for the benefit of both sides. Mbappe does not want to break up in a “villainous” way, and PSG also wants the best star to conquer the title. The Champions League championship is still unfinished. The meeting between Mbappe and coach Luis Enrique on March 3 (Vietnam time) eased tensions between the two sides. This also reduced unnecessary tension within the team.” .

PSG defeated Real Sociedad with a score of 2-0 in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League, so the opportunity to continue to the quarterfinals is now very high even though there is still 1 return match.

“But to ensure every opportunity to continue, coach Luis Enrique still needs Mbappe to play. Further, from the quarterfinals PSG may encounter stronger opponents. PSG leadership clearly understands their situation, if they continue to cause tension, including statements from coach Luis Enrique that they need to prepare for the possibility of playing without Mbappe.

But that’s the story for the next season. Currently, PSG needs to wisely take advantage of what they have, including Mbappe, to conquer the championships. Among them, the Champions League arena is the biggest ambition. Mbappe also showed his determination to say goodbye to PSG at the peak of glory,” L’Equipe newspaper expressed.
