Mbappe’s family is angry with PSG coach

Coach Luis Enrique’s statement before the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 this season made Kylian Mbappe’s relatives dissatisfied.

Coach Enrique recently made controversial decisions about Mbappe.

Before the confrontation with Real Sociedad, Mr. Enrique caused public discussion when he hinted at the possibility of not using Mbappe in the remainder of this season’s Champions League .

“Maybe yes, maybe not. Who knows,” the PSG captain replied to reporters when asked about the possibility of Mbappe playing in Europe’s most prestigious club-level tournament this season.

“I will still use Mbappe in the Champions League the same way I just did in Ligue 1. Why can’t I do that,” the Spanish strategist affirmed.

Le Parisen revealed that Mbappe’s family was angry at the statement from the PSG head coach. They believe that this strategist is deliberately making things difficult for the player, tarnishing the image of the striker born in 1998 during his final period with PSG.

In round 24 of Ligue 1 last weekend, in PSG’s 0-0 draw with AS Monaco, coach Enrique caused controversy when he replaced Mbappe before the second half started. However, this player and his mother went straight to the stands instead of sitting on the bench with his teammates.

This action later caused controversy. Mbappe’s supporters said that coach Enrique made things difficult for the player when he knew he would definitely leave the team to go to Real Madrid in the summer.

Previously in round 23 of Ligue 1, Mbappe was also replaced in the 65th minute of the match against Rennes. At that time, PSG was leading 0-1, but coach Enrique surprised many people by withdrawing his main striker.

Coach Enrique also hinted that he withdrew Mbappe midway through the game to help PSG “get used to life without this striker”. “I’ve been doing football long enough to know what’s most important in clubs like PSG,” the former Barca coach emphasized. “Sooner or later PSG will have to get used to life without Mbappe.”
