Selena Gomez Joyfully Opened Up “Honestly With The Public” And Spoke About “Appreciating” Her Issues, Such As Dealing With Bipolar Disorder

Selena Gomez has discovered a way to ‘appreciate’ her own challenges.

Before opening up about her mental health in the 2022 documentary My Mind and Me, the 31-year-old pop artist disclosed in 2020 that she had been diagnosed with bipolar illness. Last week, she put on a stunning show in Paris.

She also said that as she grows older, nothing is holding her back

To be honest, reaching thirty was a happy occasion for me. Now that I’m thirty-one, I really believe that the older I’ve become, the more I’ve valued the challenges I’ve faced,’ she said to People.

The gorgeous woman who owns the cosmetics brand Rare said, “And I don’t necessarily feel like I’m held back by anything. I just feel like I’ve been honest with the world, I’ve been honest with myself, I’ve called myself out, and I just want to be the best version of myself.”

After all this time, the Single Soon hitmaker assured fans that she now feels “really happy” with herself. The singer rose to stardom in her early teens when she was cast in the main role of Alex Russo in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place.

This is particularly true now that retailer Sephora has committed to supporting her Rare Impact fund with 100% of purchases from her Rare Beauty brand in celebration of World Mental Health Day.

‘I’ve done so many amazing things in my life, but there’s never been a moment quite like this,’ she said. I’m really appreciative.

“I truly feel that way about my upcoming gala as well, and it’s amazing to know that my partner Sephora is genuinely supportive of [my mission] to promote mental health.”

“I know it seems simple, but trust me, it’s taken years of back and forth in my mind. Now that it’s showing, I’m just really happy, and I feel incredibly honored.”She sent a statement on Instagram on Wednesday.

“On October 10, World Mental Health Day, @sephora will donate 100% of its 24-hour sales of @rarebeauty to the Rare Impact Fund!”

“As part of our dedication to offering mental health resources and support to young people worldwide, I founded The Rare Impact Fund.”

The Rare Impact Fund has extended its reach internationally and given funding to twenty-five recipients since 2020.

“Please come shop Rare Beauty at Sephora, both in-store and online, on October 10th with me.” She also expressed her pride in the success of her business, Rare, to People.

It’s really humble, she said at the outset.

When you hear about the experiences and hardships of others, you really transcend yourself.

“I believe that working for this company has made me feel less alone, and I now hope that others can have the same access that I have.
