Man Utd legends Patrice Evra and Park Ji-sung reunite… but at the ground of Premier League rivals

The Manchester United legends were team-mates at Old Trafford for six years between 2006 and 2012.

During that time, they made 133 appearances together and won 11 major trophies, including four league titles and the Champions League.

However, their latest reunion instead took place at Wolves’ training ground.

The pair visited alongside two South Korean influencers to surprise forward Hwang Hee-chan.

As part of filming for a new TV show called Man In Europe, the influencers played a game of head tennis with Hwang.

He also chatted to both Park and Evra, with footage of the visit shared to YouTube by the club.

Evra was later surprised by his former Juventus team-mate Mario Lemina, who could be seen sneaking up behind the Frenchman in the gym.

The visit ended with Park and Evra offering drinks to players and staff from inside a Hwang-branded coffee van.

Park’s compatriot Hwang has recently returned to Wolves after helping South Korea reach the Asian Cup semi-finals.

He has been in fine form this season, scoring 11 goals across all competitions.

Since his initial loan move from RB Leipzig in 2021, the 28-year-old had only scored nine goals for the club before the current campaign.

Meanwhile, Evra and Park have been retired since 2019 and 2014, respectively.

Whilst Evra has gone into punditry, Park has held roles with both United and the South Korean national team since hanging up his boots.

He is now technical director for K-League side Jeonbuk Hyundai alongside working with the Asian Football Confederation.
