EXCLUSIVE: Harry Styles spends his downtime in style, be it in a luxury New York penthouse or a fabulous Hollywood Hills mansion – OK! takes a closer look inside his lavish pads…

Harry Styles is well and truly on the property ladder, as he owns a bundle of incredible homes from London to LA.

Before shooting to fame on The X Factor, the popstar lived in a modest home with his family in Cheshire but when he joined One Direction the band moved into a luxury apartment complex in north London.

At the age of 18, Harry purchased his first home – thought to be a four-bedroom house for almost £4 million.

He’s since built up his property portfolio, scooping up a bundle of lavish pads from a chic property on LA’s iconic Sunset Strip to a New York penthouse.

Let’s take a closer look at Harry’s jaw-dropping luxury homes…

Cheshire childhood

Harry was 16 years old when he auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, at which point he was living at home with his family. Their semi-detached house in Holmes Chapel, a village in Cheshire, boasts an open-plan living area, a stylish kitchen and a small garden.

Bachelor pad perks

At the start of One Direction’s career, the band’s management provided them accommodation at a luxury apartment complex in north London, set within 30 acres of parkland. Not short of space, the young singers enjoyed large bedrooms, a chic living area, arch windows, en suite bathrooms, communal tennis courts and a gym.

The apartment block in Princess Park Manor was formerly an asylum – home to 2,500 patients – before it was converted into luxurious flats in 1995. They eventually moved into their own houses in and around the hotspot locationas their careers took off.

Hampstead hotspot

Less than a year after One Direction released their debut album in November 2011, Harry, then 18, purchased his first home, relocating to Hampstead Heath. It was reported that he bought his four-bedroom house for almost £4 million.

It offered high brick walls and gates for extra privacy, as well as three bathrooms, three reception rooms, skylights and a sprawling 2,300sq ft suite with a dressing room. Other celebrities who own property in the area include Benedict Cumberbatch, Helena Bonham Carter and Ricky Gervais. Harry reportedly still owns his first home.

Lavish London investments

Harry has since invested even further and in 2019 he splashed out more than £8 million for a five-bedroom grade II-listed Georgian house located near his first property. A year later he reportedly purchased an 18th-century villa just next door for more than £4 million.

Beverly Hills glamour

Well and truly on the property ladder, Harry took his fame and fortune across the pond to Beverly Hills, California. He scooped up a super-modern pad for just over £3 million in this exclusive area in 2014.

The home boasts large open-plan spaces, wooden beamed ceilings and stylish interiors. In addition, it has a large kitchen, gym, private swimming pool, several balconies and huge floor-to-ceiling glass doors.

Sunset strip style

Shooting to stardom in the States, Harry built on his already impressive property portfolio and purchased a lavish abode above LA’s iconic Sunset Strip in 2016. The chic property, which cost more than £5 million and is tucked away in the Hollywood Hills, features four bedrooms and a whopping six bathrooms. It has an inviting pool and large balconies to take in the views.

New York penthouse

Harry launched himself into his solo career in 2017 and bought a luxurious penthouse in New York for £7 million. It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, an open-plan living area, rustic wooden beams and 11-foot-high ceilings. The apartment building, located in Tribeca, has been home to the likes of Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Justin Timberlake.

LA love nest

After meeting Olivia Wilde on the set of the film Don’t Worry Darling in 2020, the pair dated and reportedly shared a home together in Los Angeles during 2021.

There are high walls and trees creating a secluded garden, which was ideal when the couple’s romance first began.
