We watched with tears in our eyes as a thin, sick puppy was discarded like trash. However, a guardian angel appeared and offered this puppy a second chance at life, just when we thought there was no hope.
This helpless child was so sick that he barely looked like a dog when he was finally saved. To say it was just skin and bones would be an understatement. It was difficult for him to get up because he was so thin and weak. It was almost difficult for him to keep his eyes open since he was so tired.
Although it would be difficult to save this dog’s life, his rescuers did not give up on him. The dog received intravenous nutrition and blood transfusions from veterinary staff.
His body lacked key nutrients and iron. His rescuer understood that his health was far from stable and he remained by his side as a precaution.
He had trouble staying warm without body fat, so his caregiver wrapped him in a warm coat. He was happy and was finally recovering.
It’s amazing what a little affection and love can do for a dog who has always been willing.
As time went by, his health began to improve. It’s a gradual process, but every step forward is a step on the right path! Now he has energy to walk and investigate. He also makes new friends. Teddy loves his new foster home!
About a month later, his fur began to recover. He is starting to look like a healthy puppy. He even plays and wags his tail. But the best thing is that he is so happy! His savior has decided to adopt him and give him all the love he could need.
The puppy adopts his favorite toy, a teddy bear, and carries it happily while wagging his beautiful tail. Everyone who visits is impressed with his improvement. He went from a living skeleton to a happy, healthy puppy in just four weeks!
Adequate medical treatment is complicated, but it is never easy to find, especially for people who become the majority of poor communities.
We are so glad this puppy was saved in time and most importantly he is now completely healthy and having a great life with his new owners! Yes, he was adopted! What a happy ending!
