Laura Dern gushed about the ‘deep friendship’ she formed with Taylor Swift nearly two years after starring in one of her music videos.
‘It’s one of my deep friendships and I love and admire her so much,’ the 56-year-old Oscar winner told People last Thursday.
‘To find a friend amidst the creative, and she’s a superpower… She’s incredible. So that’s been really fun.’
Laura famously portrayed the 34-year-old pop star’s wicked ‘Stepmommy’ in her Cinderella-inspired 2022 music video for Bejeweled, which she also directed.
Dern isn’t quite sure whether her own fanbase has expanded due to their connection, but shrugged: ‘I don’t know, but I’ll take it!’
