How does you repay the auntie who twisted your mind into a pretzel, kept you from your parents for your entire life and then did her damnedest to ensure that your reunion would be for the occasional of a mass funeral? We’re about to find out this week on The Young and the Restless!

On Friday, January 12, Claire works up the courage to stare down if not all her demons, at least the biggest one: her Great Aunt Jordan. The young woman’s goal? To resolve unfinished business with the psychopath who raised her.

Of course, however certain Claire is afterwards that she’s rid of Jordan forever, she is likely in for a rude awakening. How many times did Jordan’s equally batty sister Eve return again and again to wreak new havoc? Odds are, Claire will be more than just haunted by the fact that Jordan cost her a relationship with Victoria and Cole growing up, she will always loom like a dark shadow over her.

Plus, psychos like Jordan have a nasty habit of getting free. (See also: Sheila Carter, Cameron Kirsten… ) If, or more likely when, Jordan is on the loose once more, Claire will have to watch her back as closely as Nikki and the rest of the Newmans. After betraying Ms. Crazypants, Claire has surely moved to one of the top spots on her hit list. And Claire knows all too well that that is a place no one wants to be!
