Elon Musk, currently the richest person in the world and the entrepreneur behind SpaceX and Tesla, has a history of many marriages and expensive divorces. He even married and divorced his second wife, actress Tallulah Riley, twice.
Their relationship began in 2008 and they first married in 2010, then divorced in 2012. Musk and Riley remarried in July 2013, but the union was short-lived and ended. in 2016. Even though they divorced, they still maintain a good relationship and sometimes refer to each other as friends. It was also noted that the couple lived separately for six months before finally filing for divorce. During the divorce proceedings, she was asked if she would marry Musk a third time, to which she replied, “I mean, never say never.”
Riley describes Musk as “the perfect ex-husband” and despite coming to terms with the relationship’s oddities, she still maintains a positive view of him. Their divorce had major financial consequences, with Musk paying Riley more than $20 million in both divorces. Despite ups and downs in her personal life, Riley considers their relationship to have “very deep love and connection”.
Elon Musk also went through an expensive divorce with his first wife, Justine Musk, with important financial settlements. Justine received a significant compensation, including cash, shares in SpaceX, and a Tesla Roadster. Despite tough offers and negotiations, they eventually reached a settlement with Justine receiving a total of $20 million and monthly support payments.
In addition, Elon Musk is involved in a custody battle with singer Grimes. Both have filed lawsuits against each other, creating a complicated situation involving child custody and legal issues in multiple states.
