Taylor Swift gives her best friend Brittany Mahomes a hug after the Chiefs’ disappointing Christmas defeat.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce did not give their ladies much Christmas cheer

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes arrived at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas Day full of excitement, but by the time the resurgent Las Vegas Raiders had their way with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, their tone was very different.

Taylor, adorned in a number 87 Chiefs Santa hat to support Kelce, embraced Brittany, who had her own festive headwear featuring Patrick’s famous number 15. Mrs. Mahomes’ look of shock and despair was the final image many fans saw after the Chiefs disappointing loss that dropped them to 9-6 on the up and down 2023 season.

Swift and Mahomes brought their families for Christmas in KC

To make matters worse for Pat and Trav, the disastrous game happened in front of extended families on the holiday, not just Taylor and Brittany.

Swift was spotted at a game for the first time with both of her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift. Her brother Austin was also there, making an incognito entrance alongside his sister while dressed as Santa Claus.

The Mahomes family was out in force as well, with young Sterling causing havoc in the suite, and Patrick’s controversial brother, Jackson, joining Brittany among the crowd.

Mahomes and Kelce struggle against Raiders

Kansas City’s biggest stars struggled to make an impact on Monday. Mahomes finished the game 27 of 44 passing for 235 yards with one touchdown and one interception, a pass intended for Travis Kelce that was returned for a pick six in the first half.

Kelce finished with a meager five catches for 44 yards, short of his usual impact. Mahomes and Kelce appeared fed up with the Chiefs offensive struggles, as they both erupted with anger on the sideline during the course of the loss
