Jack Doherty, the 22-year-old YouTube star with millions of fans, is back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons—this time, police say he was arrested for domestic violence in Florida.
The social media influencer was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery after what authorities describe as a physical altercation with a woman in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, according to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
Officers responded to a reported domestic dispute just before noon in the Riverside Park neighborhood. Police said Doherty and a female victim, who has not been publicly identified, got into a physical fight inside a residence.
The woman was reportedly not hurt in the incident. Doherty was taken into custody and booked into the Broward County Main Jail.
In his latest mugshot, a visible cut appears on his cheek, though it’s unclear if he got the gash during the dispute.
Sources close to Doherty told TMZ that he claims he acted in self-defense, though official details remain limited.
The 22-year-old, who boasts over 15 million YouTube subscribers alone, is no stranger to legal trouble. Court records show he has faced multiple traffic violations and misdemeanors in the Miami area between 2022 and 2026.
In November 2025, he was arrested on 𝒹𝓇𝓊𝑔 possession and resisting arrest charges. That incident went 𝓿𝒾𝓇𝒶𝓁 after a now-deleted TikTok video showed Doherty standing in a Miami street, shouting at police and challenging them to a duel. He was carrying amphetamine and marijuana at the time, authorities said.
Doherty later called that arrest the worst day of his life, according to reports.
Known for his 𝓿𝒾𝓇𝒶𝓁 prank content, he also made headlines in October 2024 when he totaled his $200,000 McLaren supercar during a livestream on Kick—allegedly while texting and driving in the rain. He was banned from the platform after the crash.
With a new arrest adding to his growing legal record, what comes next for the young influencer who keeps finding himself in the spotlight for the wrong reasons?
