The Enola Holmes actor recalled that his calorie intake dropped from five thousand to almost 1500 for six weeks to get that defined physique. According to the actor, his body fat level at that time was just 7%. It all worked out in the end though as Zack Snyder gave him a special gift after his two shirtless scenes ended. After Snyder shot the scene, the director gave Henry Cavill a pizza and a tub of ice cream as a reward for his dedication to those shirtless scenes.
With The Witcher actor’s iconic portrayal in the movie, Man of Steel earned a whopping $668 million at the global box office and got a strong rating of 7.1/10 on IMDB but an average of 56% on Rotten Tomatoes.
