Brazil.
In the isolated community of Muquém, in the metropolitan region of Fortaleza, the birth family has two babies who need attention: the target of one and a half years: Vicentina, who plays with the chickens in the backyard, and her aunt Aldenete, who is watching but the internet is not a baby, oddly enough, it is 31 years old.
She is trapped in the body and mind of a baby.
Aldenete suffers from a severe case of built-in congenital heroism.
This means she was born with little or no thyroid hormone.
Thyroid hormones are responsible for our metabolism.
If you have no idea about going to hibernate like a turtle in the winter, Aldinete’s body has been in hospital since she was 2 years old.
She has not grown or had any mental development since then, despite several visits to the health center.
It wasn’t until she was eight that a doctor finally diagnosed the problem.
Unfortunately, he said it was too late for any treatment.
The family was told that if Aldenete had undergone simple treatment a few weeks after being born, she would have been leading a completely normal life.
If the baby is not treated, then, unfortunately, it is certain that he will grow up with greatly reduced intelligence and mobility difficulties.
