With the Thanksgiving holidays currently being celebrated by US audiences, The Boys’ official Twitter account has seemingly taken issue with a bizarre internet meal suggestion dubbed “The TurKracken”. Check it out below:

Following on from the idea of the Turducken, the TurKracken is an octopus unceremoniously shoved inside a turkey. Hilariously, The Boys responded with a heartbroken image of Chace Crawford’s The Deep, harkening back to the season 3 episode where he was forced to eat his octopus friend Timothy.

How Will The Boys Season 4 Follow That Timothy The Octopus Moment?

Throughout its previous three seasons, The Boys has consistently offered audiences a barrage of shocking, yet hilariously memorable moments. Season 3 was certainly no different, with the premiere almost immediately introducing the franchise’s most shocking moment with the shrinking Supe known as Termite. While that particular scene would set the bar for the rest of the season, Homelander forcing The Deep to eat his friend Timothy was a far more personal betrayal and a perfect representation of how much disdain the leader of The Seven holds for his aquatic compatriot.

Intended as a parody of DC’s Aquaman, largely considered one of the most useless members of the Justice League prior to his big screen reinterpretation featuring Jason Momoa, The Boys’ intentionally casts The Deep in a similar light. Often making him a comedic foil with few redeeming qualities, over the years The Deep has repeatedly faced humiliation and condescension from even his closest allies. The show’s shocking Timothy moment was merely a culmination of the ongoing contempt with which he had already been treated for years.
