Draymond Green started out Saturday afternoon’s game vs. the LA Clippers on fire from beyond the arc. Making four threes in the first quarter, Green was feeling it from deep, to start the game, but did not make another three after that hot start.

With a chance to win the game on a corner three at the final buzzer, Green came up short on that shot after receiving the pass from Steph Curry, and explained after the game how he felt on that attempt.

“Amazing,” Green said when asked how that shot felt. “I think Russ might have hit a piece of it, which is why it fell a little short. But it felt good.”

While it doesn’t look like on replay that Russell Westbrook got a piece Green’s shot, he had an incredible contest after helping on Curry’s drive. Altering Green’s shot even if he did not get a piece of it, Westbrook played great defense on that final possession after having sat out for most of the fourth quarter.

Not afraid of taking that big shot, Green said it felt good coming out of his hand, but it fell short. Had Westbrook not been cutting off Curry’s drive, the ball likely doesn’t find Green in that spot, but that’s how it played out.

This was a tough loss for the Warriors, especially after leading by 22 points.
