A machete attacker has been filmed raining down knife blows on a victim at a London underground station. Edgware Road tube station in Westminster was closed after police and London Ambulance Service were called to reports of a serious assault just before 5pm on November 19. Ambulance crews and an incident response officer attended the scene to find a man had been stabbed.

Ford is planning to cut roughly 800 jobs across the UK over the next three years as part of a wider European jobs cull. The car manufacturer said the UK job cuts come as part of plans to axe 4,000 roles overall across Europe by the end of 2027 to slash costs. A forensic psychiatrist testified that Jordan Neely had been hospitalized for psychotic episodes over a dozen times and was heavily abusing drugs before his death on a Manhattan train. Dr. Alexander Bardey took the stand in the trial of Daniel Penny, 26, a marine veteran who put Neely in a fatal chokehold when the homeless man threatened passengers on a subway in May 2023. Witnesses said Neely screamed at passengers that someone was ‘going to die’ on the train, and Penny said he stepped in when Neely approached a woman with a child in a stroller.
