The $200 mιllιon acquisition, created by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, who is now working on Kanye West’s future home, is the most expensive house in the state of California.
The mansion is also the second most costly in the nation; the most expensive residence in the nation is a $238 mιllιon flat in New York City. The 30,000 square foot, totally concrete home that the couple currently owns was once priced for $295 mιllιon, so they got a very good deal.
William Bell, who spent 15 years building the estate and is regarded as one of the world’s largest art collectors, was the former owner.
