Joan Beltri, the architect in question, was initially hired to help transform a Grade II-listed building in Winchester, Hampshire, into an aesthetic clinic. However, the relationship quickly deteriorated due to a series of significant blunders, including cutting through a gas pipe and failing to obtain necessary council permissions.
As tensions escalated, Beltri reportedly unleashed a barrage of threatening emails and voicemails towards the couple, with one message allegedly stating, โI will ๐๐พ๐๐ them all. Itโs what I will do. Their parents, their family, and their children.โ
The architectโs vitriol didnโt stop there; he also made derogatory comments about Carolina, claiming, โIf I saw you in the street, I would spit in your face.โ
After the couple ended Beltri’s contract in November 2024, the harassment intensified. In the aftermath, Carolina expressed that the ordeal has been nothing short of a nightmare. โHe was sending me hundreds of emails every day. He still calls me today.
I blocked him everywhere, but you can see he is still sending me things,โ she revealed. Despite reporting him to the police, she noted that Beltri is currently residing in Spain, which she hopes will provide some relief.
