Florida Man Allegedly Threw Dog Poop at His Neighbor—Then Grabbed a Kid’s Scooter During the Argument...

A bizarre neighborhood clash in Florida took a messy turn when a man reportedly confronted his neighbor over unscooped dog waste, leading to a 𝓈𝒽𝓸𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 altercation that involved feces and a child’s scooter. This unusual feud escalated quickly, leaving authorities to sort out the aftermath.

On August 8, Lake County sheriff’s deputies arrested 35-year-old Trey Decloedt following a disturbing incident at a Leesburg residence the day before. According to reports, tensions had been brewing between Decloedt and a couple living nearby over the ongoing issue of dog droppings littering their properties.

The situation spiraled when the husband alleged that Decloedt stormed into their home uninvited, brandishing the offending dog waste. In a startling act, he reportedly threw the feces at the homeowner, igniting a physical confrontation that saw both men exchanging blows.

The conflict intensified when Decloedt allegedly picked up a child’s metal scooter, raising it threateningly above his head. Witnesses described the scene as increasingly volatile, with deputies later noting visible injuries on the neighbor’s forehead and remnants of animal feces scattered outside.

Decloedt reportedly claimed he had previously voiced his concerns to the neighbor’s wife, who assured him the mess would be cleaned up. However, after several hours passed without action, he felt compelled to address the issue directly. Bodycam footage captured his assertion that the neighbor had invited him over to discuss the matter, only to push him back during their encounter.

When deputies attempted to document any injuries Decloedt sustained, he allegedly refused to cooperate, leading to his eventual arrest. He maintained his version of events throughout questioning, stating that he and the neighbor had once agreed to freely enter each other’s homes.

In a twist, the neighbor provided deputies with a recording indicating he had previously revoked that understanding due to the ongoing dispute over the dog waste. Decloedt now faces serious charges, including aggravated assault and burglary, and was released on a $16,000 bond the following day. His next court appearance is scheduled for August 31.

What’s next for these feuding neighbors, and can they ever find common ground?
