THIS is the moment a woman was arrested by taser-wielding cops after four men were stabbed in a horror broad daylight rampage at Covent Garden.
The victims were rushed to a major trauma centre following the attack in central London this afternoon.
Pictures showed an Air Ambulance helicopter landing in a packed Trafalgar Square with the incident believed to be “isolated ” and “mental health related”, according to cops.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed crews were scrambled to the area shortly after midday as shocked tourists watched on.
Dramatic footage taken at the scene showed cops armed with tasers in a tense stand-off with a woman.
Officers were seen talking with her on the junction between Short’s Gardens and Neal Street.
They then tackle her to the ground and appear to restrain her as terrified bystanders kept their distance.
After being treated at the scene, the victims – aged 34, 39, 42 and 52 – were then rushed to hospital “as a priority”.
Two remain in hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing but the other two victims have since been discharged, emergency services said.
A 47-year-old woman has since been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and assault.
She was taken to custody while officers cordoned off a huge stretch on Endell Street, with an array of police cars parked along the road.
It is understood the stabbing was a mental health-related incident and a pair of scissors were recovered at the scene.
