😢 Driver Charged After Deadly Crash Killed 28-Year-Old Motorcyclist—What Happened Next Has Left Everyone Stunned...

A deadly crash on a busy Essex road has left a community in mourning—and now a man is facing serious charges after allegedly fleeing the scene on foot.

Police were called to the A12 in Romford on Saturday night following reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle. Despite emergency efforts, 28-year-old motorcyclist Anwar Shinwari was pronounced dead at the scene on Whalebone Lane.

According to authorities, the driver of the car reportedly left the area on foot before officers arrived, triggering a search. The next morning, 45-year-old Lee Culleton was arrested in connection with the incident.

Court documents claim Culleton has since been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop, and driving without insurance. He also faces additional counts of driving while disqualified and fraudulent use of a registration mark.

Culleton appeared before Thames Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on August 25.

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help Anwar’s family cover funeral expenses and the cost of transporting his body to Afghanistan for burial. The page reads: “His family is going through an incredibly tough time.”

An investigation into the exact circumstances of the crash remains ongoing. What more will come to light as this case moves through the courts?
