But he hasn’t even properly started yet! He still has yet to release his first solo album, GOLDEN.
Jungkook released his first solo single, “Seven (feat. Latto)” in July and his second single, “3D (feat. Jack Harlow), in September. These two songs received much love in Korea and an explosive response overseas. Meanwhile, something bigger is coming. Jungkook’s first solo album, GOLDEN, will be released simultaneously worldwide at 1 PM KST on November 3. It will contain 11 tracks, including “Seven” and “3D.” He has also collaborated with more prominent artists for this album, so expectations are rising for the release. The title track, “Standing Next You” is a retro punk song that stands out with Jungkook’s groovy vocals.
Jungkook participated in the entire production process of his first solo album, including personally selecting all the included songs, and these tracks were gathered together to complete the album, which was inspired by solo artist Jungkook’s “golden moment.” Fans will be able to fully enjoy Jungkook’s wide musical spectrum, vocals, and various musical colors and charms.
Jungkook, who has already set record-breaking records with his previous singles, is expected to create new achievements with the release of his album, which is just one day away. After the release of the album on November 3, Jungkook will engage in various activities at home and abroad. He confirmed his appearance as a performer at the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards, Europe’s largest music awards ceremony held in Paris, France on November 5, by being named in three categories including Best Song with “Seven”. He will also held a fan showcase at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul on the November 20 and meet with fans on a closer level.
