Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Reynolds cheekily treated his fans to a snap of his crotch in his unmistakable Deadpool uniform.

Ryan, 47, was celebrating the wrap of Deadpool 3, the latest instalment of his smash hit ribald series of superhero films.

For his latest go-around as the foul-mouthed anti-hero, Ryan is joined by a cast of heavy hitters including Jennifer Garner, Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfayden.

Deadpool 3 will see the main character inserted into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Hugh Jackman reprising his iconic role as Wolverine from X-Men.

In his caption marking the wrap of the movie, Ryan wrote: ‘The suit hides blood. Also sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears.’

The sizzling sensation added: ‘A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and @thehughjackman.’

He also made sure to praise the ‘the stalwart leadership of’ their director Shawn Levy, whose filmography includes Night At The Museum.

Hugh marked the occasion of the wrap with a post on X, formerly Twitter, showing him in the makeup chair having his Wolverine whiskers trimmed.

‘What a ride!!! I’ve loved every minute of making this movie. Well not the training and diet but the other 93.2%. To the best cast and crew, thank you! You are all aces,’ he wrote. ‘To two of my best mates @VancityReynolds and @ShawnLevyDirect I literally couldn’t have done this without you. Literally!’

Looking ahead to the release date of the movie, he added: ‘July 26th can’t come soon enough. Time to shave. @deadpoolmovie.’

The first Deadpool bowed in 2016, winning a massive fanbase and becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film of all-time at that point.

Deadpool 2 arrived two years later and was a similarly rousing success, surpassing its prequel to become the new highest-grossing R-rated film of all-time.

They were both swiftly supplanted in the top spot by Joker, which held onto its number one position as Oppenheimer climbed to number two last year.

In addition to leading the cast of the movies, Ryan also contributed to the script for Deadpool 2, a task he has reassumed for film three.

Deadpool 3 was originally meant to bow at the start of this May, but the Hollywood trikes forced it to be delayed to its currently slated release date of July 26.

The comic dynamic of Deadpool 3 appears to be hinging on the clash of personalities between wacky, wild Deadpool and stoic, severe Wolverine.

‘We wanted something that felt, grounded, real,’ the director dished to Deadline at the Toronto International Film Festival last year.

‘You put Hugh Jackman in his most iconic character alongside Ryan Reynolds in his most iconic character; it’s more of a descendant of Midnight Run, and 48 Hours, and Planes, Trains And Automobiles more than it’s a descendant of Airplane!.’

‘I always wanted Hugh to come back,’ Ryan told Collider in 2022. ‘My first meeting with Kevin Feige when Disney bought Fox years ago, maybe three years ago, or three and a half, four years ago, I’m not sure, was about doing a movie with the two of us, a Deadpool Wolverine movie. And that was not possible at the time.’

He dished: ‘And then Hugh just happened to call at that perfect moment and express that he’d be interested in coming back and doing this one more time.’
