Chelsea could be about to receive a major boost in their bid to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
Napoli are interested in Benjamin Sesko and have identified him as a potential successor to Victor Osimhen, according to CaughtOffside.
The latter has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea this summer and the Blues could end up going toe-to-toe with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain for his signature.
However, Chelsea are also thought to have Sesko on their radar so could perhaps turn to him if they miss out on Osimhen.
Fabrizio Romano recently claimed that the club have sent scouts to watch Sesko on multiple occasions.

Chelsea interested in both Benjamin Sesko and Victor Osimhen
Osimhen has a release clause in his contract and Napoli have now seemingly identified a possible replacement for the 25-year-old, so it looks like he is definitely leaving this summer.
That is good news for Chelsea, who want and need a centre-forward like Osimhen.
However, with his release clause set at £113m, according to the Evening Standard, and profit and sustainability rules becoming a major thing in the Premier League now, they may not be able to afford the Nigerian.
Sesko, then, could represent a much cheaper alternative, with the Blues also interested in the 20-year-old.
At this stage, it remains to be seen who Chelsea will sign. But again, Mauricio Pochettino could really do with a new No.9.
With Armando Broja joining their west London rivals Fulham on loan in January, right now, Nicolas Jackson is the only recognised striker at Chelsea. Christopher Nkunku can play up front, but it is not the Frenchman’s preferred position and he has really struggled to stay fit this season.
So whether it is Osimhen, Sesko or another centre-forward, we do expect the Blues to strengthen up front when the transfer window opens again in the summer.
