The Kardashians have established themselves as one of the most famous families in the world after being thrust into the spotlight almost 20 years ago.

A lot has changed for them over the years – Kim Kardashian has reached billionaire status, Kourtney Kardashian has embarked on a wellness journey, Khloe Kardashian has built up a denim empire, Kendall Jenner has taken the modelling world by storm and Kylie Jenner has recently expanded into the world of fashion. But that’s not all that’s different.

The TV icons have tried out a number of different looks since finding fame and after growing up in the limelight, they’ve been hit with plenty of plastic surgery claims. Here, we’ve taken a look at just how much the Kardashian-Jenner clan have changes over the years.

Kourtney Kardashian was 28 years old when Keeping up with the Kardashians came out. While her style has changed dramatically over the years from girly girl to punk princess, her face seems to have stayed the exact same.

In fact, fans have often gushed over how the reality star seems to be ageing backwards. Kourtney is passionate about keeping on top of her skincare regime and uses her wellness brand Poosh to promote her favourite vegan skincare products.

The mother-of-four has admitted to having cosmetic surgery done but it wasn’t to her face, with Kourtney getting breast implants when she was 22. However, in 2011 she admitted she regretted getting them. “I had my boobs done, but if I could go back, I wouldn’t have done it. I was so cute before,” she told Showbiz Spy.

Kim Kardashian has always been open about the cosmetic work she’s had done, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating if there are some things she’s kept hidden. A lot of people have accused the reality TV icon of having a nose job and lip fillers, but Kim has insisted it’s actually all a trick.

The mother-of-four revealed her chiselled looks are down to makeup trickery. Speaking to Allure in 2022, she said: “After everyone’s in bed, I’m doing laser treatments. I’ve never had eyelash extensions. I’ve never done anything.”

Kim also relies on regular sessions with a dermatologist and “a little” Botox to keep herself looking refreshed. She told Gwyneth Paltrow in 2022 that she had tried multiple non-invasive procedures while searching for the perfect skin.

She said: “I thought that I have learned so much in my journey and I have had the best facialists, the best aesthetician, tried every laser. I’ve tried everything and I wanted to bottle that up and take everything that I’ve learned and work with my favourite aesthetician and develop products that are the next level.”

Khloe Kardashian was young when she first found fame, with the star just 23 years old when her life was turned into a reality TV show. She’s changed a lot over the years and, unlike a lot of her sisters, she’s admitted to having cosmetic work done on her face.

During one episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians in 2021, she insisted at that point she had only had one nose job. The Good American founder also admitted to having injections but said she stays away from Botox.

Last year, Khloe further opened up about her nose job and told fans on social media that she had it done a few weeks before her daughter True Thompson’s first birthday. As well as a nose job, Khloe has credited weight loss for her change in appearance.

“I openly talk about my nose job and anyone who ‘looks up’ to me must know I’ve lost over 60 pounds over the years,” she said on Instagram after haters questioned her face. Khloe also shot back and said she “didn’t know I had to do a running list”.

Kendall Jenner has arguably changed the least out of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. She grew up in the spotlight and fans have watched as she established herself as a top model.

Kendall has insisted she’s never had any work done to her face and actually pointed to her successful career as the reason why. Aged 18, Kendall hit back at rumours she had a nose job.

“Come on now, people. Makeup does wonders. Honestly, people can make something up and really make other people believe it, and there’s not much you can do about it,” she told Extra.

She later slammed surgery rumours and questioned why she would have her face “reconstructed” as a model. “It’s crazy because sometimes I feel like people just want me to lose.

“I found this Instagram page devoted to Kardashian bashing and it has a lot of followers. I don’t ever take that stuff personally, but it was upsetting for me to look at because this person dedicated an entire page to just dissing the whole family and being like, ‘These people suck’,” she said in a January 2017 live stream.

Kylie Jenner has understandably changed a lot over the years as she was just a child when Keeping up with the Kardashians first aired. However, she has admitted her change isn’t all natural.

In May 2015, Kylie said she got “temporary lip fillers” because of her insecurities. “It’s what I wanted to do. I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything. So I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn’t lie,” she said on KUWTK.

Kylie opened up about her insecurities in a 2017 episode of Life of Kylie. “I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips. I have really small lips. And it was like one of my first kisses and a guy was like, ‘I didn’t think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips’.”

She added: “I took that really hard. Just when a guy you like says that, I don’t know, it just really affected me. I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty. I really wanted bigger lips. I would overline my lips with lip liner just to create the illusion of bigger lips. And then finally I was like this lip liner isn’t doing it. [I] ended up getting my lips done.”

Kylie further opened up about her insecurities as she told HommeGirls this year: “I think a big misconception about me is that I’ve had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn’t! Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room. I was the girl performing for everyone. I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done.”
