Reports have claimed that Chelsea have a replacement in mind for Conor Gallagher if they sell him this summer.
According to HITC and insider Graeme Bailey, the Blues have lined up Bruno Guimaraes as a potential signing in the upcoming transfer window.
Gallagher has remained a crucial player this season for Chelsea, in particular current manager Mauricio Pochettino.

2024 has seen him find his goalscoring touch again, finding the net against Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Leeds United in recent weeks.
However, this has not seen reports disappear over some at the club still being convinced that he should be sold at the end of the season.
This most recent report states that they are still not convinced, and still planning a sale this summer.
Chelsea considering signing Guimaraes to replace Gallagher
One of the names they are considering to replace him is Guimaraes, who has proven to be a great buy for Newcastle ever since he moved to the Premier League.
Alan Shearer described him as ‘brilliant’, and he has emerged as arguably the most important player for Eddie Howe’s side.
It has been claimed in the past that the Blues have held an interest in signing him, however this has never really ended in much for them.
However, Bailey has claimed that he is certainly one of the names on the list, and the club would be willing to go big to replace Gallagher.
Some supporters will still be firmly against the Blues selling a player who has spent large portions of the campaign as the captain of the side.
Despite that, it would be difficult to argue that they would not be bringing in a superb player in the Brazilian, who now has plenty of Premier League experience under his belt.
Any big signings this summer are likely to only come as a result of a number of players leaving the club, and it looks like Gallagher could still be one of those.
