An upcoming American superhero movie called Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is based on DC Comics and stars Aquaman. It is slated for release by Warner Bros. Pictures and is a picture produced by DC Films, The Safran Company, and Atomic Monster Productions. It is meant to be the follow-up to Aquaman (2018) and the thirteenth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Directed by James Wan, the movie features Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, along with Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The screenplay was written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.
