Last May, we alerted fans to news that The Young and the Restless alum Justin Hartley (ex-Adam) would be headlining a new CBS drama. Now, we have details on the premiere episode, as well as an extended look at the former This Is Us actor as Colter Shaw in Tracker. And for those who haven’t heard about his latest project, the series is based on mystery and crime writer Jeffrey Deaver’s best-selling novel of the same name and follows Colter’s many adventures as a lone-wolf survivalist and “reward seeker.
The new extended preview gives viewers a peek at some of the people who will cross Colter’s path as he sets out on the hunt to help private citizens and law enforcement solve a variety of mysteries — from rescuing a girl in the middle of nowhere to barging into a fast food joint’s security office without permission to finding himself hanging over the edge of a road above a river.
And in the first episode titled “Klamath Falls,” Colter’s handlers, Velma and Teddi, send him off to Klamath Falls, Oregon, where a 14-year-old named Gil Brown has disappeared. While investigating the main suspect, the boy’s birth dad, one with a criminal record, Colter finds himself in trouble and has to reach out to legal eagle Reenie Greene.
The extended preview is filled with so much drama and excitement, including a few shirtless shots of Colter, who warns, “Don’t hurt your eyes, ladies…” — you just have to watch for yourself!
So, when should you plan to tune in to Harley’s action-packed show? Be sure to set your DVR for the big premiere, which will air directly after Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, February 11.
