Directed by Damien Chazelle, Babylon was expected to match standards like his former critically acclaimed project La La Land. Unfortunately, the film’s plot, which revolves around the evolution of Hollywood from silent films to modern cinema, didn’t gauge the audience it was intended for. Nevertheless, the film has earned a decent IMDb rating of 7.1, and three Academy Award nominations, majorly for its design and music. Plans of retiring seem far-fetched yet, as Pitt is working on two movies simultaneously. Apple’s untitled F1 movie and 2024’s Wolves are in the works, again produced by Plan B.
