The Young and the Restless’ Jordi Vilasuso is going to have a real Baby New Year on his hands. On Instagram December 30, the Emmy winner who played ill-fated Rey from 2018-22 told his followers that “it looks like we are in for one more surprise before we ring in [2024]!”

How’s that? The daughter that he and wife Kaitlin announced in September that they were expecting was eager to make her “debut.” “Baby girl is a bit early” — Kaitlin is 35 weeks pregnant — “but we are so blessed that we were able to make it this far. What a miracle!” the actor exclaimed. “Thank you for each prayer that has been sent up for our family, and we ask for one more as this little lady comes into the world! God bless you all!”

The alum of Guiding Light, All My Children and Days of Our Lives already considered himself blessed to the nth, what with his and Kaitlin’s two beautiful daughters, Riley and Everley. As for the mom-to-be, she “has been and continues to be so strong and faithful. I’ve been in awe of how you’ve been able to keep your and our spirits high throughout this arduous and joyous journey,” he marveled. “You will forever be my Katie girl… Love you so much!”
