Nick Pickard was left shocked on Thursday’s installment of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here as he was late to find out about Jamie Lynn Spears‘s departure.
The Hollyoaks legend, 48, woke up in the morning blissfully unaware and naively asked the campmates: ‘What happened last night, because I was asleep?’
The other campmates had all found out about Jamie’s departure on Wednesday evening – but Nick had missed out on the news as he was fast asleep.
Nella said: ‘Oh! Jamie’s gone! We were like, “Who is going to tell Nick because he’s going to wake up and she’s gone?”
She jokingly added: ‘But I think everything is your fault…’

It was announced on Wednesday that Jamie Lynn had quit the jungle after ten days on medical grounds
In the Bush Telegraph, a shocked Nick said: ‘Went to bed early and Jamie’s gone. It’s not nice.
‘But there you go, we’ve got to carry on haven’t we? Eyes down, feet forward.’
It was announced on Wednesday that Jamie Lynn had quit the jungle after ten days on medical grounds.
Britney’s sister, 32, had a very emotional time in camp and was frequently been filmed in floods of tears over the difficult conditions and missing her family back home.
She left the show days after Grace Dent left the jungle amid fears over her ‘unwell’ appearance and after Nella Rose was taken out of the camp to be treated by medics – although she has since returned.
On Wednesday’s episodes the other celebrities found out about Jamie Lynn’s departure and were quick to send their well wishes.
They received a letter from producers explaining that Jamie Lynn would not be returning to the camp.
As Josie Gibson announced the news to the team, boxer Tony Bellew and EastEnder’s actress Danielle Harold were the first to send their love to Jamie Lynn.

The sister of pop star Britney took to Instagram to describe her time in the camp as ‘incredibly special,’ despite quitting the show on ‘medical grounds’
Jamie Lynn shared a gushing caption reflecting on her time on the show, adding that would be ‘taking some time to recover’
Danielle revealed she is going to struggle without Jamie Lynn in the camp as she sent her well wishes to the star after the two struck up a friendship.
In scenes earlier this week the pair had been seen chatting away as Danielle lapped up the Britney stories and comforted Jamie Lynn when she got emotional over missing her family.
Speaking to the camera Danielle confessed: ‘I am going to really really miss her’.
Meanwhile Tony gave a sweet tribute to the star as he said: ‘We are going to miss her very very much she was a valued campmate.’
He continued: ‘She’s just a lovely girl.’
Hosts Ant and Dec also acknowledged Jamie Lynn’s exit on medical grounds before clarifying she is ‘doing fine’ since her departure and they wish her ‘all the best’.
Dec noted that ‘no one said it would be easy’ with two stars already gone before the eliminations from the public vote begin.
Jamie has since broken her silence after her exit in a post on Instagram.
She wrote: ‘I can’t wait to share with y’all everything about this once in a lifetime experience, but I don’t even know where to start when trying to describe what an incredibly special time and place I had with some of the absolute best humans I have ever met and consider family now.
‘THANK YALL for welcoming me into your living rooms night after night, and for supporting me through all the highs and lows.

Later on in Thursday’s episode, the campmates came to blows over a tragic end to their precious stock cube.
As Fred cleaned up around camp, he admitted he’d inadvertently put the remaining bits of stock cube on the fire: ‘Oh f***. I think it’s a stock cube.’
Nick gasped: ‘Oh, Fred,’ while a horrified Marvin reacted: ‘What? No. No…’
Fred said in the Bush Telegraph: ‘Everything was so dirty and I started to clean it again and unfortunately I threw the stock cube on the fire. Oh well, Ronaldo can miss a penalty, I can throw a stock cube on the fire.’
Tony clarified: ‘You’re really not joking? That’s a killer. I don’t eat the rice on its own. Oh my god.’
In the Bush Telegraph Tony said: ‘That’s probably the first time it’s boiled up a bit inside of me. That really annoyed me.’
Cleanliness was again an issue in camp. Explaining his annoyance about the cleanliness Fred said: ‘For the washing up though, we have to have a standard and the standard has to be 10/10 every time. Because there’s only one kind of clean.’
He added: ‘Every single item was dirty. It’s unacceptable.’
The growing tension led to camp leader Sam Thompson calling a meeting, announcing Danielle Harold would join Fred as chef, while Nick would help out with camp maintenance to keep the peace.
Sam said in the Bush Telegraph: ‘We’re actually quite good leaders. We need to keep the peace between washer uppers and Fred.’
