‘Stranger Things’ star Maya Hawke clearly has good taste in both projects she joins and watches as she calls ‘Gen V’ the best show of 2023 “by a long shot.”

Stranger Things star Maya Hawke has publicly revealed that Prime Video’s latest The Boys spinoff, Gen V, was personally her favourite show of 2023 as well as being “better” than its predecessor – in her opinion.

Hawke isn’t alone with her opinion on the latest spinoff to the popular live-action series adaptation of The Boys comic over on Prime Video, as many fans and critics alike continue to praise everything the franchise produces.

Gen V is currently sitting with a ‘fresh’ score 97% Critics Score on Rotten Tomatoes, as of Dec. 16 2023.

Maya Hawke Praises Gen V, Says Its Her Favourite Show of 2023

While on the carpet for her musical romance Maestro, Maya revealed her favourite show of 2023 while talking to Entertainment Weekly.

When asked what her favourite show of the year was, the Asteroid City said: “Yeah Gen V, by a long shot!”

She continued: “It’s – I think it’s the best – I love The Boys but Gen V kissed even better, one of my favourite things that I have ever seen.”

“Can’t wait [for Season 2], yeah.”
