Good news, Blinks. Jennie is finally returning to TV, with an upcoming variety programme called Apartment 404. The Blackpink member was sighted with other cast members in ‘90s-themed dressing, reportedly filming for the show produced by Jung Chul-min for tvN. The producer has worked on a number of successful TV shows in recent years, including Sixth Sense and Running Man, where he was a producer for 10 years.
While little has yet to be revealed about Apartment 404, the programme is slated to air sometime next year. Other cast members include industry veteran Yoo Jae-suk, as well as Yang Se-chan, both of whom are current members of SBS’ Running Man. Actors Cha Tae-hyun and Lee Jung-ha from Disney+’s popular action and superhero series Moving are also part of the show’s regular cast. Oh Na-ra from Sky Castle will also be joining the cast of Apartment 404.

Jennie’s last variety show appearance was in 2018, with Village Survival: The Eight. Village Survival: The Eight, hosted by Yoo Jae-suk, was also produced by Jung Chul-min. The variety show had its cast members stay in a village overnight while attempting to solve a complex mystery through a series of games. Throughout the show, Jennie made all the cast members laugh with her antics, natural wit and endearing persona. So we just can’t wait to see more sides of the pop star in Apartment 404.
