The 36-year-old actress told the media outlet that she had never felt good about her own image and that she had been constantly working to become more comfortable in her own skin.
The Transformers cast member, who is working on rekindling her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, began the sit-down by stating: ‘I have body dysmorphia. I don’t ever see myself the way other people see me.’

The 36-year-old actress told the media outlet that she had never felt good about her own image and that she had been constantly working to become more comfortable in her own skin.
The Transformers cast member, who is working on rekindling her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, began the sit-down by stating: ‘I have body dysmorphia. I don’t ever see myself the way other people see me.’
Fox went on to state that she had never felt confident when looking in the mirror.
‘There is never a point in my life where I loved my body,’ the actress said. ‘Never, ever.’

The New Girl cast member also told the media outlet that her body dysmorphia had begun at an early age.
She recalled that ‘when I was little, that was an obsession I had of like, “I should look this way?”‘
Fox added that ‘it definitely wasn’t environmental because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren’t even acknowledged.’
The performer concluded by stating that she would likely continue to be concerned about her physique well into the future.
The actress stated: ‘The journey of loving myself is going to be never-ending, I think.’
Fox previously opened up about dealing with body dysmorphia during an interview with British GQ Style that was published in 2021.
During the sit-down with the media outlet, the Jennifer’s Body star remarked that she dealt with ‘a lot of deep insecurities’ related to her image.
The actress went on to express that she felt as if beauty did not equate to confidence.

The rapper, born Colson Baker, stated that his fiancee ‘helped me realize that you can’t bury your trauma.’
The performers revealed their engagement to the public in January of last year.
